Healthy eyes can be damaged by outside sources. Photokeratitis is a painful condition that is totally preventable. Knowing what causes photokeratitis and understanding the condition will help you protect your eyes and eyesight.

This painful condition develops when the thin surface layer of the cornea of the eye is exposed to damaging ultraviolet rays.
During the consultation with your plastic surgeon, you probably discussed how your nose would look after your rhinoplasty surgery is complete. In fact, your doctor probably showed you comparison pictures or used 3D imaging to show you exactly how your nose would appear after your surgery. Don't expect your nose to look like the 3D image as soon as you step out of the operating room. It takes about two weeks to recover from rhinoplasty surgery.
Having hemorrhoids might be uncomfortable, but you shouldn't be so embarrassed by this common issue that you don't seek medical care. Symptoms such as pain or itching, swelling and even the appearance of blood when you go to the washroom can indicate that you have one or more hemorrhoids that need attention. It's best to arrange a visit with your doctor, who will be able to inspect your body and determine how to help.
